We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction and maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently sourcing for a skilled Turbine Coordinator for a power plant in Oklahoma. Requirements

  • Must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to medical, psychological, background and substance abuse screenings.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Has a valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in writing inspection reports and maintaining records.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Frequently Stand; Walk; Sit; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Talk or hear
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of radiation
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to understand and follow all safety standards.
  • Knowledge and experience of removal and install gaskets and packing.
  • Knowledge and experience to understand and follow rigging procedures and supervision.
  • Supervise turbine controls, such as front standard governor maintenance and valves set-ups.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of steam turbine machine and valve components.
  • Previous supervision or lead of a small turbine crew.
  • Demonstrates an interest and ability to lead and teach.
  • Able to identify unsafe conditions and takes corrective action without direction.
  • Coaches employees to maintain positive performance.
  • Adhere to safety programs and policies language.
