The role includes responsibilities such as accomplishing room start-up procedures, filling the product line to the extruder, and adjusting the steam tunnel to target product temperature. The operator must also record all measurements on the batch sheet and participate as a member of the team, fostering strong cohesiveness regarding major issues and accepting responsibility to identify and resolve areas lacking cohesiveness.
