About The Position

The Tunnel Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the tunnel washing system to ensure the efficient and hygienic cleaning of hospital linens, uniforms, and other washable materials. This role plays a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and infection control within the hospital by delivering clean, sanitized linens for patient care and hospital operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and cleanliness of linens.
• Ability to lift and move heavy laundry loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a laundry or linen service setting preferred, especially in a healthcare or hospitality environment.
• Basic mechanical skills for operating and troubleshooting laundry equipment.
