About The Position

The Tugger Operator is in charge of towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts as they fill through the shift. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of similar work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial lift and/or tugger to assist in loading or moving materials for yardage
• Bale cardboard, run a trash compactor, and operate a tow tractor in order to keep production running smoothly
• Use computer, read work order, or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Load materials and/or buggies into trailers and/or trucks
• Install strapping or chains to prevent shifting or damage while in transit
• Print necessary labels and manifests
• Transport buggies from work sites to designated area
• Load and unload full or empty buggies
• Use the computer to keep a current list of available buggies
• Perform janitorial duties such as emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, and scrubbing floors
