To help us drive excellence, you'll get to: Move materials in the plant as required Ensure parts and containers are placed at workstations as required Document incoming materials as required Complete required paperwork/labeling for shipments Empty trash for appropriate disposal Participates in activities to support environmental efforts Participate in activities to support continuous improvement Contribute in efforts to maintain a clean and safe work environment Process hourly/daily paperwork as required Check fluid levels Comply with Autokiniton's values and policies Use scale for weigh control purposes Use handheld scanner Be capable of working together as a team when needed. Other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager/Supervision This full-time hourly role is a part of our Belleville Plant 2 team and reports to the Production Supervisor. Requirements

  • Fork Truck license. Pass written test and demonstrate safe operation of a powered industrial vehicle.
  • Ability to complete visual quality inspections
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills as evidenced in peer relations.
  • Ability to lift/pull/push loads of up to-35 lbs at an expected rate
  • Ensure plant safety procedures are known and followed

  • Assists other colleagues
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed
  • Candidates must be flexible, adaptable to change
  • Candidates must have No active disciplinary on file and have an excellent work ethic
  • Candidates must possess an excellent attendance record - 4 points or less
  • Must be willing and able to work Overtime as requested
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and work as a team in resolving issues
