You will... This physically demanding position is responsible for driving a tug on the airport ramp. As a Tug Runner/Ramp Agent, the position is responsible for transporting secured luggage between airline baggage room and the remote sorting facility.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record
• Completed high-school diploma or GED equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Successfully pass the post offer pre-employment screening including FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations
• Follow company appearance guidelines.
• Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, even under stressful working conditions
• Hard working and self-motivated
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required

• With the exception of a fully-grown mustache, beard, or goatee all men must be clean shaven.
• No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed. Any tattoos must be covered by your uniform or other means agreed upon by management.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. The employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stand; walk. The employee is also frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. In addition, the employee is required to of twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis.
• The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision and Ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Drives ramp tug safely pulling up to 4 carts of luggage.
• Reports on daily delivery status to dispatcher and supervisors
• Keep vehicles, ramp areas and line equipment clean and orderly
• Performs daily vehicle inspections
• Operates radio to communicate with dispatcher and supervisors
• Adheres to strict safety, security, and quality standards
