About The Position
Operate tufting machines and replace needles, loopers and knives. While machine is running, inspect carpet quality and defects such as breaks, pull-downs, low lines. ssist drop-off of rolls and maintain production records. Housekeeping and other duties necessary to maintain the necessary levels of production.
Requirements
- Six months experience as a Mender.
- Knowledge of carpet quality standards.
- Must have basic tools (screwdriver, pliers, etc)
- Special tools will be provided by the company
- Basic reading skills to read and understand numerical and alphabetical lot numbers.
- Work overtime as needed, including weekends.
