  • Efficiently run the tufting machine involving checking the face for quality defects, getting defects corrected, threading needles, and replacing any yarn which may have run out from the creel.
  • Mark and doff all rolls produced as well as assist in changing the primary backing.
  • Check rugs to match order.
  • Check yarn to match order.
  • Maintain all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position.
  • Repair minor machine malfunctions.
  • Lift/move heavy objects and load/unload blade blocks.
  • Meet the production, quality, and safety needs set by management.
  • Follow all safety procedures for the job duties assigned.
  • Place recycle materials in correct containers.
  • Report any unsafe acts or hazards in work area.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Appropriate following of safety rules.
  • Conform to safe work practices.
  • Maintain an orderly work environment.
  • Communicate well with others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
