About The Position
This role is crucial for ensuring the production of high-quality tubing products while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position is a multi-task position and will rotate to areas as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred but not required. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with GMP and QA procedures
- Ability to document and record process data accurately.
- Awareness of safety protocols and environmental policies.
- Basic math skills and assembly.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Must be able to distinguish colors and good vision for inspection purposes.
Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate and final inspection of tubing and tubing prototypes.
- Cross-train within the tubing processes
- Accurately record data for traceability reporting, statistical process data collection, customer compliance, and quality assurance of medical products.
- Package materials according to established protocols.
- Inspect tubing for visual defects using microscopes, monitor microscopes, and box lights.
- Manually and automatically cut tubing to specified lengths using tubing and braided tubing.
- Prepare tubing for the cleaning process after mandrel removed, which may involve individual hanging or bundling of the tubes
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to QA procedures and requirements to ensure product quality.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Follow safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping practices, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Environmental Compliance: Adhere to environmental policies and procedures.
