About The Position
Mount Peter is a ski area in Warwick, NY that offers its employees a fun work environment, ski and ride for free, and competitive seasonal pay. We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Tubing Attendants to join our team! As a Tubing Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a fun and enjoyable experience while participating in snow tubing activities. Your primary responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, assisting guests with tubing equipment, monitoring the tubing area, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physical stamina to assist guests and lift equipment as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays throughout the season.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide information about tubing, safety guidelines, and equipment usage.
- Inspect each tube to ensure they are in proper working order for lane conditions prior to issuing to guest.
- Provide the appropriate tube to guests.
- Monitor tubing runs and surrounding areas to ensure guest well-being, adherence to rules, and proper equipment usage.
- Facilitate the loading and unloading of guests onto the tubing carpet lift or hill, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Stay current on daily mountain reports & general mountain information.
- Enforce regulations and guidelines, intervening when necessary to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tubing area, including picking up debris and ensuring equipment is in good condition.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, or emergencies, acting as the first point of contact for guests.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling tubing equipment and facilities as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
