Job Description Position Overview The Film/Tube Utility is responsible for supporting the laminator/slitter and tube department by bringing the raw materials to the tube room, removing the finished goods from the tube room, and stretch wrapping them before placing in the warehouse. Working as a member of the production team to maintain the facility safety, quality, and productivity standards. Schedule: 3rd shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM ($1 differential) Pay rate: $18.50/hr Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Pallet jack/tow motor experience preferred.
  • Time management, attention to detail.
  • Pallet jack/tow motor certification, RF scanners.
  • Basic computer skills, Oracle/WMS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Responsible for consuming product to locations with the RF Scanners.
  • Build boxes according to shift guidelines and specification.
  • Responsible for finishing the packaging process, affixing labels, and palletizing according to specifications for finished goods.
  • Remove full pallets from production, wrapping them and putting them away in the warehouse.
  • Supply all raw materials to the tube room area.
  • Empty all scrap containers as needed and bale scrap as required.
  • Relieve cappers and extruder operators as needed.
  • Responsible for doing scheduled sanitation activities on material handling equipment.
  • Complete all documentation completely and accurately.
  • Assist in the training of other personnel in the utility department.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
