JOB TITLE: Tube Line Team Leader (Oven Operator) DEPARTMENT: Tube Line REPORTS TO: Tube Line Manager POSITION SUMMARY: RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSIGNING DEPARTMENTAL DUTIES FOR THE SHIFT; MEET PRODUCTION SCHEDULE; COORDINATE BREAK SCHEDULE; TROUBLESHOOT ISSUES, RELIEVE PEOPLE AS NEEDED. Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and do basic math.
Must have an understanding of all Tube Line Jobs.
Must be able to effectively communicate and lead a work group.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be a self-starter and able to motivate a group toward continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of experience within Armacell is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Set and change the oven conditions as needed to meet customer specifications
Coordinate/Participate in size changes, screw changes, and clean outs with extruder and mill team
Must be able to perform the majority of the tasks required by each position on the Sheet Line.
Understand and implement the weekly schedule and the 24 hour plan
Must be able to trouble shoot and problem solve in a thorough, logical manner.
Gather documentation from mixing, extrusion and take-off
Write daily shift reports
Update the SQDIP reports on GEMBA board
Must be able to update SQDIPW boards daily, Correct any entry errors in AIMS, and any 901 discrepancies
Must be able to communicate with all employees effectively.
