We are hiring immediately for a Tube Fabricator . What you will be doing as a Tube Fabricator: In this role, you can expect to master the art of power bending and hand bending various tubes, while also performing essential tasks like cutting, deburring, flaring, and pressure testing hoses and tubes. Requirements

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
  • Ability to work in typical machine shop environments exposed to noise, oil, and other solvents is needed
  • Willingness to learn new skills is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Tube Bending Operations \: Plan and perform tube bending using NC (Numerical Control) or manual equipment, duplicating patterns, and making necessary adjustments
  • Equipment Setup and Operation \: Set up, adjust, and operate tube bending equipment to bend various tubing sizes and angles
  • Flaring and Fitting Installation \: Perform flaring to widen the end of tubes for a secure fit, deburr edges, size ends, and install a variety of end fittings
  • Measurement Recording \: Record measurements and angles in desired patterns for future reference
  • Tool and Equipment Use \: Utilize tools such as wrenches, hose threading machines, table saws, drill motors, and pressure testing equipment
  • Quality Inspection \: Check hose cure dates, inspect diameters, and ensure assembly meets Textron Aviation standards
