Tube Bending Team Leader

About The Position

Responsibilities: • Ability to setup, and run CNC rotary draw tube bending machine under no supervision. · Oversee and provide direction to bending machine operators · Manage bending jobs and projects to ensure all meet deadlines. · Coach, train, and develop staff • Set-up and operation of CNC rotary draw bending machine while conforming to manufacturing tolerances • Set-up and switch tooling of CNC rotary draw bending machine (Bend Di, Clamp Di, Wiper Di, Pressure Di, Mandrel, Collette, Stop Blocks) • Program new post bends into CNC bending machine • Ensure all tube assemblies meet strict quality and compliance standards • Checking drawings to work orders to ensure correct quantity of posts are bent and put out for job • Promotes and encourages team members to work effectively with cross-functional departments as need • Conduct quality inspections using appropriate quality measurement tools (calipers, taps, angles) • Maintenance of tooling and equipment Requirements • Ability to work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements. • High School Diploma or equivalent • Prior bending experience required • Strong understanding of basic math including decimals, fractions and metric system Proficient in English to communicate with fellow employees and follow work instructions • Ability to use the required hand tools, power tools, and cutting machines in the assembly process • Can effectively use measuring instruments such as a tape measure • Detail oriented with large emphasis on accuracy • Ability to work in high pressure situations under deadlines · Preferred Skills and Experience: • Experience working with Stainless Steel Tubes (thin-walled and thick-walled tubing) • Well versed in manufacturing of complex tube assemblies • Experience with 3D tube bends Certified Production Technician (NCMIT graduate) preferred Other Details: · First shift - Monday-Thursday (7:00am-5:30pm) with Fridays as needed · Uniforms provided by company after 90 days · Benefits available after 90-day probationary period - Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life, AD&D. · 401K available after 1 year · We are a DFW (Drug Free Workplace · Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to enable them to perform certain job duties

Requirements
