About The Position

As a Construction Intern at Thompson Thrift, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team working on retail and multi-family projects. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction management. You will assist in project management by helping to build, estimate, and schedule projects. You will learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate effectively with vendors, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed. Quality control will be a key focus, as you prepare work plans, manage materials, track costs, and schedule equipment to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently. Safety and compliance are paramount in construction, and you will administer safety programs to ensure a secure working environment for all team members. Additionally, you will maintain exceptional owner relations to deliver projects that exceed expectations.
