Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of large-scale, state-of-the-art recommendation models, leveraging expertise in retrieval, ranking, re-ranking, and other phases of the recommendation pipeline.
• Own and manage data engineering projects by defining technical strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to design, develop, refine, and optimize machine learning algorithms that drive business impact and enhance user engagement.
• Utilize cutting-edge, application-driven research to explore new frontiers in the recommendation algorithmic domain and apply advanced technical approaches to drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Manage the allocation of internal and cross-functional resources to support system optimization goals through the efficiency of organizational collaboration.
• Direct the preparation of technical and project status reports to communicate results and insights to peers and senior leadership.
• Provide business, technical, and personal development coaching to build, manage and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
