About The Position
The TS Cleared Sr. Network Systems Engineer will provide sustainment support to a mission-critical IP email and chat transport system at a federal client's site in Fort Meade, MD. This role involves maintaining a complex Cisco enterprise IP data transport and communications structure, troubleshooting and configuring Cisco routing and switching devices, and supporting firewall infrastructure. The engineer will also be responsible for tier escalation support and vendor engagement, requiring strong communication skills to brief senior leadership and foreign dignitaries. The position includes standard working hours with travel to overseas sites approximately 5 to 6 times a year.
