Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous accounting or securities experience.
• Master's degree and/or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic to moderately complex to complex fiduciary, non-profit, and information returns for assigned accounts.
• Set up and maintain all necessary records and information pertinent to the taxes on investment and trust accounts.
• Review transactional tax coding to ensure proper tax reporting and taxability.
• Advise investment officers and account administrators of any tax situations related to processing the tax return which could affect the management of their accounts.
• May assist in processing backup and foreign tax withholding/reporting.
• Monitor non-resident accounts to ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
• Assist senior tax accountants with completing more complex tax returns.
