Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Trust Operations, Banking Operations, or Bank Customer Service experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with the ability to work in high pressure, time sensitive environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion with internal and external customers.
  • Effective collaboration at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and learn from others.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily reconciliation, including balancing of daily work and discrepancy resolution.
  • Complete Land Trust Account Reviews.
  • Review and update procedures where needed.
  • Generate and mail monthly Land Trust statements.
  • Perform daily cash management function.
  • Process wire transfers, ACH, check disbursements, distributions (i.e., RMD’s, tax and bill payments) as directed by Trust Administrators.
  • Process monthly Fiduciary and extraordinary fees to customers’ accounts.
  • Participate in procedure creation or updates.
  • Digitize customer documents in compliance with current retention policy.
  • Provide support for the Land Trust portfolio including but not limited to conveying property, assignments, amendments, appointment of successors, and closing of trusts.
  • Research and resolve all Land Trust related inquiries.
  • Participate in document preparation for audit requests and onsite audits.
  • Propose process improvements.
