Trust Operations/Account Administrator

The Trust Operations/Account Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the bank's trust function. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of trust accounts and client interactions. The administrator is tasked with coordinating client meetings, preparing presentations for both employee and client meetings, and actively participating in face-to-face client meetings. This role requires a strong understanding of client needs and the ability to communicate effectively with clients on a regular basis to determine their requirements. In addition to client support, the administrator is responsible for the administration of accounts. This includes reviewing and coordinating account liquidity and trading activity on a daily basis, monitoring contributions and distributions, and managing the opening and closing of accounts. A solid understanding of the legal aspects of managing trust accounts is essential, as the administrator will review incoming trust documents and discretionary distributions, bringing any requests to the attention of a Trust Officer. The role also involves monitoring and analyzing account data, ensuring that investment objectives are met, and keeping track of account fees. The Trust Operations/Account Administrator must work closely with Trust Officers and Investment Managers to ensure that client needs are met effectively. This position also requires adherence to all internal policies and procedures, particularly those related to risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). The administrator must promote a workplace environment free of harassment and discrimination, supporting the bank's commitment to a safe and compliant operational framework.
