The Trust Officer is responsible for the administration of trust and investment agency accounts, identifying and developing new business opportunities. This role involves regular communication with grantors and beneficiaries to maintain positive relationships, reviewing account balance sheets, and consulting with the trust investment officer to monitor account holdings. The Trust Officer will also review daily account activities to ensure accuracy and monitor cash balances for liquidity needs, attend Trust Committee meetings, and build professional relationships with bank officers and legal and accounting professionals. Maintaining a current knowledge of trust and investment laws and regulations is essential, as is keeping management informed of activities, opportunities, and problems.
