Develops and maintains unit policies, procedures, and training initiatives. Hires and trains staff, establishes and monitors performance goals, coaches employees, and recognizes and rewards performance results. Prepares and reviews management and exception reports. Serves as an expert resource for complex problem solving. Manages the unit budget by increasing revenue, controlling costs, and reducing expenses. The role is managing a team with core responsibility of wire review and approval in the CLO business line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Six or more years of experience in banking operations, sales, compliance/law, accounting, and/or customer service
  • Two or more years of management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Thorough knowledge of the Trust division, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations
  • Ability to effectively manage large trust unit functions in operations, processes, compliance, sales, and relationship management
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance on sales processes and customer calling programs
  • Strong management skills to include planning, budgeting, and people management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prefer wire operations management experience, including Fed and SWIFT systems.
  • Leadership in wire processing is a plus.
  • Metrics reporting experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret wire instructions and understand international flow of funds is beneficial.
