We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Trust & Family Office team. This is a great position that includes assisting in client communications and providing support to our advisors and their clients, delivering full-scope client service in the areas of tax and estate planning, cash flow management, charitable giving, and investments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required – accounting, economics and/or finance or business with an emphasis on accounting/finance
  • Obtained certification and/or willing to complete coursework pertaining to certifications, such as CFP® or FPQP®
  • Prior analyst experience preferred
  • Experience with Tamarac and/or Salesforce
  • Motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills
  • Able to stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team
  • Eager to learn new skills in a variety of financial planning areas using multiple software applications
  • Advanced Excel and writing skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Service oriented
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to company’s financial growth and profitability

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of reporting materials for periodic client meetings, which includes creating and/or updating reports such as cash flows, financial statements, and asset allocations summaries along with drafting financial projections and calculations
  • Analyze investment performance and research investment options and provide recommendations
  • Review and track client account applications, transfers, and directives
  • Assist the financial advisor in providing an exceptional level of client service and responsiveness based on the needs and expectations of the client, including regular review meetings and service requests
  • Assist in preparing documents for the financial advisor in the process of closing new client prospects for wealth planning services
  • Advise clients and prospective clients regarding market conditions, investment trends, and investment alternatives including a direct understanding of and ability to explain a variety of investment vehicles and options
  • Assist advisors with various special projects and requests
  • Ensure proper regulatory compliance in processes and procedures for the team
  • Ensure a high level of ethics, integrity and professionalism in all client, prospect, public, and internal interactions so as to promote the Bank’s reputation and to ensure compliance with Bank policies and applicable laws and regulations
  • Continue to expand knowledge of comprehensive wealth management including Financial Planning, Tax Planning, Asset Management, Risk Management and Estate Planning
