About The Position

The Asset Manager – Residential Portfolio is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 70–80 residential properties on behalf of owners or clients. This role ensures that each asset is managed in accordance with its management agreement, delivering strong operational performance, maximizing property value, and providing high‑quality living experiences across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of 70–80 residential real estate assets, ensuring each property is managed in alignment with management agreements, regulatory standards, and client objectives.
  • Travel to residential property locations, client meetings, and internal meetings as needed.
  • Manage Reg 9 requirements, ensuring all documentation, compliance activities, and reporting meet OCC and federal regulatory standards.
  • Conduct and oversee property inspections, annual reviews, and triennial valuations, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate and manage the sale and disposition of residential properties, ensuring maximum value is achieved for clients.
  • Negotiate lease agreements, lease renewals, and amendments with tenants and third‑party property managers.
  • Oversee property operations across diverse residential markets, ensuring strong performance, risk mitigation, and adherence to budgetary expectations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with OCC and federal regulatory requirements applicable to residential real estate assets.
  • Maintain monthly and annual compliance deadlines, including asset reviews, inspections, valuation cycles, and other regulatory deliverables.
  • Manage and process property‑related payables and receivables, ensuring accuracy and timely execution for all residential accounts.
  • Collaborate with property managers, appraisers, brokers, contractors, and other third-party service providers to support asset performance and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Lead acquisition activities as needed, including due diligence, valuation coordination, and integration into the managed portfolio.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, internal partners, and external vendors.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality completion of all asset-related tasks, reporting, and portfolio deliverables.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.
