The Trust Accounting Intern will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of supporting schedules related to capital activity, preparation of payment templates, preparation of journal entries in the accounting system, and preparation of bank and account reconciliations for transactions occurring in a complex structure of Trusts. Additional responsibilities will include assistance with data reconciliations related to system implementations for three new accounting support systems. The Trust Accounting Intern will gain knowledge and understanding of basic accounting concepts, learn to utilize accounting software, increase proficiency with Excel functionality, gain an understanding of reconciliation and research process and receive some exposure to private equity/alternative assets.
