PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders. The Lumber Picker is responsible for the accurate and timely pulling of lumber as well as the catching and stacking of parts coming off the saw machine. The Lumber Picker works closely with the Sawyer to ensure all parts coming off the saw are cut to the right length and free of defects. This position reports to the Sawyer, Lead Sawyer, Ops Lead, Production Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, or Plant Manager. This position supports our mission of Legendary Service Through Teamwork by providing team members with damage free product and ensuring all parts are cut to length to ensure our customers are getting the best product possible. The Lumber Picker works mostly outside in all weather conditions. The working days are Monday-Friday with some Saturdays as needed. We know that without great people, we can't be a great company.
