Requirements

• Strong mathematical skills
• Extensive knowledge of blueprints
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organized and detail oriented
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn new software
• Two years of estimating experience required
• Understanding of wood construction
• Experience with Planswift BlueBeam or related software
• Extended periods of time working on a computer
• Lift up to 15 pounds

Responsibilities

• Prepare framing estimates for Residential projects
• Review plans and adjust take offs for scope of work changes
• Maintain database of construction estimates
• Analyze material variances
• Communicate with field personnel
• Analyze estimating processes
• Work closely with team to ensure all deadlines are met
