Responsibilities

• Verify dimensions of pre-cut parts for accuracy of assembly
• Read a tape measure accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, and truss assembly equipment safely and effectively
• Place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints
• Connect parts at joints using hammers, presses, saws, or pneumatic staple guns
• Assemble pre-cut wooden parts to build trusses and similar supports
• Stand for 8+ hours during shifts
• Lift up to 100 lbs consistently
• Bend, twist, squat, and reach as needed
• Work in a fast-paced and labor-intensive environment
• Work outside in extreme temperatures
