About The Position

Truist Ascent: Campus-to-Career Immersion, is a multi-phase experiential program designed to introduce high-potential students to the Truist brand, culture, and career opportunities through early exposure, hands-on learning, and direct access to industry professionals. The program blends place-based campus engagement with a competitive summer immersion experience, enabling students to strengthen financial competency, build professional readiness, and form meaningful relationships with Truist leaders. Through interactive workshops, team-based challenges, and structured mentorship, students will gain insight into who Truist is, how the organization creates impact, and how Truist career pathways connect to their future goals. The program also provides early access to internship opportunities Participants who advance through the campus training may be selected for a summer Immersion Experience, culminating in face-to-face interviews with Truist hiring managers and potential internship placement for the summer of 2027. Requirements

  • Be enrolled full-time at North Carolina A&T University, North Carolina Central University, Winston-Salem State University
  • Have an expected graduation date between December 2027 – May 2029
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Be in good academic standing with no disciplinary infractions
  • Demonstrate a willingness to grow and learn in a collaborative environment
  • Exhibit the ability to work effectively on a team
  • Be willing to travel to Charlotte, NC, through July 15th and July 16th, 2026.
  • Focus Majors: Engineering, Business, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, and Data Science
