The Trucking Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) at Force Solutions is a pivotal role responsible for driving the growth of our customer base and logistics operations through a consultative sales approach. This position requires a proactive individual who can utilize innovative prospecting techniques and relationship management skills to secure new business and enhance revenue share for Force Solutions. The BDM will be tasked with evaluating both internal and external logistics data to ensure accuracy, maintain proper records, and provide reliable forecasts. A deep understanding of Force Solutions' value proposition and the ability to communicate it effectively will be key to the success of the individual in this role. In this position, the BDM will develop and implement strategic plans aimed at meeting sales targets and departmental goals. Collaboration is essential, as the BDM will work closely with Sales Development Representatives, Key Account Managers, Operations teams, and leadership to ensure that customer needs are met. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on market trends, generating data-driven quotes, and coordinating proposals and bids alongside team leads to create mutually beneficial outcomes. Negotiating logistics agreements with customers and recording all terms and conditions will be a critical responsibility. The BDM will employ a consultative sales process to establish and nurture long-term customer relationships, leveraging product and service knowledge to clearly communicate Force Solutions' value proposition. Building productive relationships with both customers and internal colleagues is essential, as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The BDM will be expected to provide and welcome feedback to contribute to a positive team culture, adhering to Force Solutions' core values and competencies in all actions and interactions, demonstrating reliability and integrity. The position may occasionally require work outside of regular business hours, and infrequent travel may be necessary. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
