About The Position

Adrianas is seeking a Trucking Sales Compliance and Permits Specialist that will be responsible for obtaining and managing all the essential permits, licenses, and certifications needed for commercial trucking. Your mission is not only to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for the legal and safe operation of trucks and transportation vehicles but also to actively engage in sales efforts. Success in this role hinges on your extensive knowledge of permits requirements, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue sales opportunities by making outbound calls and engaging potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trucking companies to promote our permit services.
  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects within the trucking industry.
  • Effectively utilize sales strategies to close deals and secure contracts.
  • Secure all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications for commercial trucking operations.
  • Ensure timely permit renewals and maintain a meticulous database of permit-related information.
  • Proactively manage the permit acquisition process to prevent operational disruptions.
  • Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to commercial trucking.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to establish and uphold compliance protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to confirm compliance and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
  • Must have experience creating Incorporations and Limited Liability Companies files in accordance with FMCSA regulations using external applications.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including articles of incorporation, partnership agreements, operating agreements, and bylaws, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist clients in obtaining the necessary licenses, permits, and registrations required for business formation and operation.
  • Research and stay up to date with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to business formation, ensuring compliance, and advising clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, accountants, and other professionals as needed to ensure accurate and timely completion of all legal and administrative requirements.
  • Facilitate the process of registering the new business entity with the appropriate government agencies, such as the Secretary of State or Department of Revenue.
  • Prepare and file the necessary paperwork and documentation for business registration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Coordinate with external service providers, such as registered agents or incorporation services, to streamline the entity formation process.
  • Monitor the progress of registration applications and address any issues or inquiries from regulatory authorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the business formation process.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, answering their questions, addressing concerns, and offering solutions to business-related challenges.
  • Develop and deliver training or educational materials to enhance clients' understanding of business formation and related topics.
  • Keep accurate records of client interactions, documentation, and progress throughout the engagement.
  • Must be able to obtain permits from: Employee Pull Notice, US DOT, CA #, Motor Carrier Permit, MC Operating Authority, BOC3, UCR, CA IFTA, CA IRP Apportioned Plates
  • Research, identify, and obtain the necessary permits, licenses, and certifications for commercial trucking operations.
  • Stay updated with local, state, and federal regulations related to permits, always ensuring compliance.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Follow up on permit applications, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and track the progress until permits are obtained.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations related to trucking permits, sharing knowledge and recommendations with the team.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with permit requirements, ensuring all permits are renewed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of all permits and associated information, including expiration dates, fees, and renewal deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as drivers, dispatchers, and operations managers, to ensure adherence to permit conditions and restrictions.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and local authorities to resolve any compliance-related issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of permits, licenses, and certifications.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits, demonstrating compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to permit status, renewal dates, and compliance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding permit-related activities and any potential risks or issues
