About The Position

Requirements

• 3-5 years of working experience in Logistics Sales and Trucking
• 4-year college degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and results oriented
• Positive 'Can-do' attitude
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Be able to adapt to fast-paced working environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and onboard U.S. customers for LTL, FTL and drayage
• Negotiate with transportation providers to obtain the best rates and service
• Build carrier capacity by establishing and strengthening carrier relationships
• Thoroughly track and document all shipments assigned with timeliness and attention to detail
• Provide shipment capacity forecasts to carriers and freight forwarders
• Provide spot logistics solutions and freight quotations to internal customers as needed
• Ensure the agreed service levels are met, driving correction actions where necessary
• Lead efforts to identify and implement continuous improvement processes that result in lower operational costs
• Review and verify invoices per service agreements and transportation schedules
• Communicate with buyers and buyer assistants in trucking needs

Benefits

• Pay is between $75K-$82K/year
• Discretionary year-end bonus
