Truck Washer Mon-Fri Nights
About The Position
This position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic to be washed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves using a yard truck to transport 40-foot trailers to and from the production yard/holding area for washing. The successful candidate will be required to perform physical tasks such as lifting, shoveling, climbing, bending, stretching, and reaching, often in extreme weather conditions and odors. Maintaining a clean work area using high-pressure water hoses and basic hand tools is also a key part of the job. The position requires the ability to read, understand, and document information, as well as communicate effectively both written and verbally.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas Driver’s License
- Must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to shovel
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet
- Ability to bend, stretch, reach
- Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions
- Ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations
- Ability to document information
- Ability to communicate with others written and verbally
- Willing to work A, B, C or D shift
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have 3 months work history listed within the past 24 months
- Ability to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
- Pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
