About The Position

A Truck Wash Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that trucks and trailers maintain their aesthetic appeal and functionality. Must be able to operate truck wash equipment safely and efficiently. Our truck wash is a Whiting gantry system that can do both a tractor and trailer together at the same time. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a keen eye for imperfections, and the ability to enhance the overall appearance of the trucks. Must provide friendly, professional service to our customers. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school education or its equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to take direction well as well as the ability to give clear direction in a tactful manner.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet physical demands of position to include walking, crouching, bending, standing.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain truck wash equipment
• Maintain supplies inventory
• Manage inventory of supplies and communicate reordering of supplies as needed.
• Operate pressure washers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment
• Inspect trucks for cleanliness and touch up as needed
• Solve minor problems on your own and communicate effectively with the team
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Upsell wipers, washer fluid etc.
