POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Logistics Department, the Truck Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet equipment.

Requirements

  • License: 310T
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and/or in a team setting
  • Must have basic computer skills. (Outlook, TMT considered an asset)
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, and provincial standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with provincial standards
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, pulling, pushing, lifting etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of hydraulics' is considered an asset
  • AZ driver's license considered an asset
  • Must have basic computer skills. (Outlook, TMT considered an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Complete all repairs and service to fleet equipment consisting of various trucks and trailers
  • Complete pre-safety inspections on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all company policies and applicable regulations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
  • Other duties as assigned
