Truck Tire Material Handler (MHL)- Illinois
About The Position
Must be able to sort scrap tires determining which tires that can be repaired and which ones are scrap. Will be responsible for Scrap 3 weight reporting to supervisor. Perform other duties as directed by Tire Building Supervisor, Lead Supervisor or Department Manager. Rework green tires and components meeting all quality requirements. Must be able to receive written and oral instructions as to specs, procedures, tolerances, and various construction and quality requirements. Will follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to obtain quality and quantity production, follow plant Safety policies, Plant policies, Environmental policies, and keep work areas neat, clean, and orderly. Medium to heavy work. Must be able to frequently stoop, twist, bend, and walk long distances. Full range of motion in arms, hands and legs, and lift 50 or more pounds on an occasional to frequent basis. Occasionally push, pull medium to heavy green tire buggy. Ability to wear respirator.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of manufacturing experience needed
- Must be able to frequently stoop, twist, bend, and walk long distances.
- Full range of motion in arms, hands and legs, and lift 50 or more pounds on an occasional to frequent basis.
- Occasionally push, pull medium to heavy green tire buggy.
- Ability to wear respirator.
