About The Position

The Truck Tire Assembly Lead Supervisor will be responsible for effectively coordinating all manufacturing activities throughout the department. This role is accountable for ensuring that the shift meets organizational goals and objectives, including safety, quality, cost, volume, scrap, and customer satisfaction. The supervisor will coordinate with the Department Manager in setting goals and objectives for the shift and implement strategies from the production manager and department managers to the shop floor supervisors. The position involves continuous improvement of workflow, work product, and employee and customer satisfaction across all departments. The supervisor will communicate instructions, report problem areas, and monitor employee progress in achieving assigned objectives, providing counseling or corrections as required. Additionally, the role includes managing and communicating activities related to Tire Engineering, Housekeeping, Safety/Security, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Production and Material Control, Process Engineering, Accounting/Finance, and Maintenance/Plant Engineering. High-risk topics will need to be escalated to plant management, and the supervisor will perform other duties as directed by the department manager while ensuring compliance with all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of Supervisor Experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field.

Responsibilities
