Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of automotive or truck sales experience preferred.
  • Proven cold calling skills and comfort working independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of Class A truck components and commercial applications.
  • CDL license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean driving record and professional appearance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months in a medium- or heavy-duty truck dealership environment ideal.
  • CDL license preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed new and used truck delivery goals.
  • Prospect daily via cold calls, site visits, and outreach to build your pipeline.
  • Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers.
  • Demonstrate truck features, performance specs, and applications.
  • Close deals and deliver trucks, explaining warranty and service options.
  • Provide ongoing support and service to customers post-sale.
  • Collaborate with service managers to inspect trade-ins and prepare appraisals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity in CRM and provide regular call reports.
  • Attend training and dealership sales meetings to stay current and connected.
