About The Position

The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for a Truck Porter / CDL Transport Driver to join our growing organization at our Florence, SC location. The potential candidate will be responsible for moving and transporting New and Used trucks around the TLG dealership and to customers.

Requirements

• Should possess a high school diploma.
• Must obtain a class "B" CDL license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Please note this is a safety-sensitive position
• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Must possess or obtain a Class A CDL.
• Motor Vehicle Record must adhere to TLG MVR guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude is recommended.
• Two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
• A mechanical aptitude is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Keeps trucks prepped for delivery.
• Ensures that trucks have sufficient fuel for test drives.
• Installs TLG mud flaps on all stock trucks.
• Ensures proper operation of all lights and air systems.
• Notifies manager immediately of defects on trucks.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as needed.
