Truck Mechanic
About The Position
Michels Corporation is seeking a Truck Mechanic to perform basic tasks in repairing and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment. This role involves keeping vehicles and equipment available for use by performing diagnostics and preventive maintenance, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with effective communication skills. Requirements
- 0-1 year related work experience
- Experience working on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility related equipment, and trailers
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
- Basic computer proficiency
- Able to provide own basic hand tools
Nice To Haves
- Formal diesel or automotive mechanic training program/certification
- Experience working on hydrovac units
