Pennsylvania Steel is a privately held metals distribution company with over 50 years in business; with 13 physical locations across the East, Southeast, Northeast, and Midwestern parts of the United States. Its corporate headquarters are in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Working knowledge of decimals and fractions
• Proficient in measuring via tape measure and micrometers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work safely in an environment with machinery, overhead cranes, and moving equipment
• Ability to work a full shift on your feet with little stationary time
• Agility necessary to climb stairs, ladders, and access forklifts and truck beds
• Medium/heavy manual work involving handling over 50lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally
• Tolerance of temperature extremes encountered both inside and outside an open warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform various physical tasks related to loading trucks involving material handling and packaging.
• Handling various types of metals by hand or via material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Other assignments as directed.
