About The Position

The Truck Jockey position at Campbell Soup Company involves the safe and efficient movement of tractor trailers in the yard under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate tractor/trailer trucks, straight body trucks, forklifts, floor jacks, and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move tractor trailers in the yard.
• Operate tractor/trailer trucks and straight body trucks to and from shipping and receiving dock areas.
• Perform DOT and/or Company required pre-trip safety inspections and maintain logs & records.
• Maintain the exterior of all dock areas, including cleaning and inspection of dock equipment.
• Inspect tail end of drop trailer loads to ensure products are properly secured before closing doors.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines for personal protection and housekeeping.
• Assist in product transfer from warehouse racks to trucks when necessary.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and light maintenance as required.
