About The Position
A Truck Installation Technician at Reading Truck works under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment such as service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and other commercial truck accessories. Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Basic welding skills, electrical wiring, hydraulics, etc.
- Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)
Nice To Haves
- Basic weld experience (helpful)
Responsibilities
- Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories
- Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
- Train with other mechanics as needed
- Follow safety rules and comply with all PPE requirements.
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager
