The Truck Fueler will report directly to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the operation and refueling of all vehicles that are returned to the yard on a daily basis. The Truck Fueler will track, monitor, and measure the fuel being dispensed into each unit while keeping accurate nightly records to ensure all trucks are fueled on time. This role involves operating vehicles in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA)/Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. The Truck Fueler is expected to understand and practice Athens Services Safety Rules, immediately report any unsafe situations or service calls to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and Safety meetings, make use of standard tools and resources provided by the Company, and notify the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
