Location: 1230 48th Ave - Menominee, Michigan 49858 Position Summary: This role is responsible for basic preventative, routine maintenance (i.e., changing oil, brakes, batteries, etc.) and repair of equipment

Requirements

• High school or equivalent (GED) (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Must be able to demonstrate and obtain SpartanNash certification for the safe driving of material handling equipment, tractors, and trailers (required)
• Basic proficiency in the use of mechanical tools (required)
• Able to demonstrate and obtain inspector certification for DOT and brake inspection (includes required training and progression

Nice To Haves

• Basic Mechanic tools and toolbox (preferred)
• Previous mechanical experience with trailers (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Meets with supervisor/lead to discuss work order priorities
• Completes work following work safety procedures and the direction of team leadership
• Utilizes maintenance systems to ensure timely and accurate documentation of maintenance and repair work performed
• Maintains a safe working environment and ensures completed work areas are clean
• May assist with parts ordering as needed
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
