About The Position
As a Dedicated Van Truck Driver at Roehl Transport, you will enjoy a structured and rewarding driving experience with weekly home time and consistent routes. This position is designed for drivers who appreciate regularity in their work schedule and the opportunity to drive a well-maintained fleet. You will primarily be responsible for delivering retail goods to stores located in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, particularly around the metropolitan areas of Louisville, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. The routes are established, allowing you to become familiar with the delivery locations quickly, as you will likely visit all stores within a month of starting your role. In this fleet, you can expect to drive between 2,100 to 2,200 address-to-address practical miles each week. Roehl Transport prides itself on its mileage calculations, which are based on the starting and ending addresses, ensuring that you are compensated for 5-8% more miles than traditional HHG carriers. This approach not only reflects the actual miles driven but also enhances your earning potential. You will be driving 5.5 days a week, with a Thursday morning launch available, which is ideal for drivers looking to maximize their earnings. One of the key benefits of this position is the almost entirely drop and hook freight, meaning you will not have to unload your cargo, allowing you to focus on driving and maintaining your schedule. You will be home weekly for at least 34 hours, providing a great work-life balance.
