About The Position

non-CDL Driver! We will teach you about distribution and supply chain techniques

Shift: Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from
specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate
documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. The
delivery vehicles for this role range from large vans to 20–26’ automatic box
trucks. This individual will spend approximately 80% of their time driving and
20% working in the warehouse. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record.
Requires applicable truck driver license for state.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver license
• 2 years required of truck driving experience
• Forklift Experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
• Vision - near, far, night
• Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness
• Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up
• Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations
• Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded
