About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Picks up and delivers machinery, equipment, parts and supplies for the company. Safely operates and maintains assigned company vehicles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Pick-up, deliver and transport equipment, machinery, parts and supplies for the company and its customers. Maintain record of all pick-ups and deliveries including required signatures. Safely load and unload the delivery vehicle. Assist in scheduling equipment pick-up and delivery times and dates. Oversee the condition of equipment being delivered to ensure high standards. Follows all safety rules, procedures and practices at all times. Maintain all assigned vehicles in good, clean working condition. Performs necessary maintenance. Provide operating instructions to customers at the time of delivery. Ensure customers satisfaction prior to completing delivery. Assist service technicians as available. Assist in set up and assembly of equipment. Keep Service Manager informed of daily progress and accomplishments. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times Perform other duties as assigned. Customer Service Responsibilities: Ensure every customer is satisfied with the products, services and support of all staff. Resolve customer's concerns efficiently and effectively. Promote a positive attitude at all times. . Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Exhibit Birkey's high level of customer service on a daily basis. Requirements

Individual should have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Should be able to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision and be able to understand and carryout oral and written directions.
Individual must have the ability to maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain the focus of providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The individual should have minimum of six months of related experience, steady work record, and must be able to perform each of the essential position functions.
Must maintain a Class A Drivers License and meet all D.O.T regulations and certifications at all times.
