About The Position

CDL Driver – Local Oilfield Operations Morgantown, WV Panhandle Oilfield Services is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to support local oilfield operations in the Morgantown, WV area. This is a home-nightly position that involves physically demanding work and schedule flexibility to meet operational needs. The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting equipment and materials to and from oilfield and customer locations. This role requires hands-on involvement beyond driving, including load securement and delivery support in outdoor work environments.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • No restriction to automatic transmissions if operating manual trucks
  • Experience with 10-speed manual transmission required if assigned to manual equipment
  • At least 1 year of CDL driving experience preferred
  • Clean driving record, including:
  • No major moving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the past 3 years
  • Limited or no preventable accidents
  • Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Subject to random DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • Safety-sensitive position
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50–75 pounds
  • Ability to climb on and off trailers and equipment multiple times per shift
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work at heights
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to maintain alertness and stamina during physically demanding workdays
  • Must live within 45 minutes of Morgantown, WV

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate flatbed and tractor-trailer equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards
  • Secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and tarps; verify load stability before transport
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing on trailers, lifting, pulling, pushing, and working at heights
  • Complete driver e-logs, delivery tickets, and required documentation accurately
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues immediately
  • Maintain safe driving practices and report incidents, hazards, or near-misses promptly
