Truck Driver - LV Regional Laundry - Temp (Horseshoe LV)
About The Position
This is an hourly position requiring previous commercial driving experience that will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of products to casino resort properties and maintaining the vehicle fleet utilized for Caesars Entertainment's Regional Laundry Facility. This role has responsibility for operating commercial equipment with little direct oversight while maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment. Candidate will be responsible for driving semi trucks with 1-2 attached trailers for deliveries within Las Vegas and Laughlin areas. Will load/unload deliveries of laundry bins in addition to the driving responsibilities. Will be expected to observe and practice all safety requirements of Department of Transportation and all other applicable regulating agencies. Shall use small hand tools to perform various small repairs to trailers used for transport. Needs to perform daily inspections of vehicles and trailers, immediately reporting any items of concern. Candidate should have basic functional understanding of vehicle maintenance Will use any necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Will be expected to meet fast paced productivity goals established at the laundry facility. Must be adept at navigating heavily congested traffic and finding the quickest routes to each destination. Candidate will be expected to work safely around high-volume commercial laundry equipment and will be expected to report any equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisory team members. Candidate will work with several hundred employees throughout the day and should display a positive attitude towards coworkers and communicate openly with facility leadership.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push wheeled carts up to 900 pounds.
- Good communication skills
- Class A driver license with a "T" endorsement
